efficiently stealing
when I thought I was awake
I left the land music sleeping
throbbing & urgent on
the circular breath of
humans & other creatures
following those narrow paths
that are understood
to lead to the heartland

commentary:

& fishmothered garlic
the wood wild blades
chorus themselves
